CarPlay (wireless), Android Auto (wireless) & Mirrorlink (wired) interface VW with MIB1 / MIB2
Use Apple Carplay or Android Auto on the original display of your VW. The interface is easy to operate using voice control or steering wheel and radio buttons (most cars).
Integrate the latest mobile technology while retaining your original screen and all existing functions. This interface gives you access to Google and Waze navigation, Spotify, internet radio, Flitsmeister and other (music) apps such as CarPlay and Android Auto. You can also project the image from your phone onto the screen of the car (mirroring). With this interface you will never have outdated navigation again. All music is at your fingertips and you can keep your attention completely on the road! This interface is also compatible with SEAT and SKODA with MIB1 / MIB2.
The Champion interface is the renewed version of the unit demonstrated by the flying dutchman. Press MENU instead of MEDIA to activate Carplay instead.
MIB 1 or MIB 2 infotainment unit (you can find it in the glovebox, it has one or two SD slots).

Remarks
- You have to use radio apps instead of original radio (radio keeps working however)

Compatibility
Suitable for VW with 5,8 / 7 or 8 inch display and a MIB1 or MIB2 unit the glovebox.

Read these notes before buying!
- A power wire may need to be pulled from the tail light to the interface to get the rear view camera to work.
- Please fill in your phone number when making an order. This fastens the shipping process.
- You can use bluetooth for sound (instead of AUX). This will give you the best sound performance!!

Installation manual
Normally the glovebox has three bolts at the top, two bolts at the bottom and one bolt in the centre.
Push the doorholders up or down to get them out of the frame.
Google on remove glovebox VW and you will find lots of examples how to do it (some examples below)
In some cases you have to release the clipholder of the big cable-tree and make space for the interface and to take out the multimedia interface.
If you cannot find enough space you can consider to install the unit behind the monitor (
remove screen VW MK7).
