(EN) How does it work?
Wireless Carplay/Android Auto
The interface will automatically set up a Wi-Fi connection via Bluetooth. You don't need to enter a password for this.
A first bluetooth connection is audio and data. Any second bluetooth connection is audio only.
Because data is required to make the Wi-Fi connection, the first bluetooth connection MUST be between phone and interface and not between phone and Toyota.
One-time procedure:
1. Turn on Wi-Fi on the phone
2. Disconnect and forget the bluetooth connection between the phone and the Toyota
3. Make a bluetooth connection between the phone and the interface
4. Follow the instructions on the phone and monitor.
In settings, you can turn on or off that Carplay/Android Auto starts automatically or manually.
Mirroring
The interface uses a different Wi-Fi connection for mirroring than the Wi-Fi connection for Carplay/Android Auto.
During mirroring, no other functions are possible via the screen, as it only mirrors the image of your phone.
For mirroring, you'll need to disconnect the existing Wi-Fi connection and create a new Wi-Fi connection as instructed.
If an image is not displayed on the screen, it is protected by the supplier of the image.
Listen to the radio
The original (DAB) radio will continue to function, but you can't combine it with Carplay/Android Auto. The sound of Carplay/Android goes through AUX and that is another music source.
You can, however, listen to radio via radio apps within Carplay and Android Auto (such as tuner radio, for example).
Order of the apps
You can adjust the order of the apps on the screen by changing the order on your phone (in Carplay settings).

Wireless Carplay/Android Auto
De interface zet automatisch een wifi-verbinding op via bluetooth. Je hoeft hiervoor geen wachtwoord in te vullen.
Een eerste bluetooth verbinding is audio en data. Een eventuele tweede bluetooth verbinding is alleen audio.
Omdat data nodig is om de wifi-verbinding te kunnen maken MOET de eerste bluetooth verbinding zijn tussen telefoon en interface en niet tussen telefoon en Toyota.
Eenmalige procedure:
1. Zet wifi aan op de telefoon
2. Verbreek en vergeet de bluetooth verbinding tussen de telefoon en de Toyota
3. Maak een bluetooth verbinding tussen de telefoon en de interface
4. Volg de instructies op telefoon en beeldscherm.
In settings kun je aan- of uitzetten dat Carplay/Android Auto automatisch of handmatig wordt gestart.
Mirroring
De interface gebruikt een andere wifi-verbinding voor mirroring dan de wifi-verbinding voor Carplay/Android Auto.
Tijdens mirroring zijn geen andere functies mogelijk via het beeldscherm, het spiegelt immers alleen het beeld van je telefoon.
Voor mirroring moet je de bestaande wifi-verbinding verbreken en een nieuwe wifi-verbinding maken volgens de instructies.
Als een beeld niet wordt weergegeven op het beeldscherm, dan is het beveiligd door de leverancier van het beeld.
Radio luisteren
De originele (DAB) radio blijft functioneren maar kun je niet combineren met Carplay/Android Auto. Het geluid van Carplay/Android gaat namelijk via AUX en dat is een andere muziekbron.
Je kunt wel radio luisteren via radio-apps binnen Carplay en Android Auto (zoals bijvoorbeeld tuner radio).
Volgorde van de apps
Je kunt de volgorde van de apps op het beeldscherm aanpassen door de volgorde op je tefefoon aan te passen (in settings Carplay).
